After the sold-out success of the previous evening’s concert with Dame Evelyn Glennie, members of the New London Chamber Ensemble brought their music to a whole new audience with a lively and inclusive Family Promenade Concert at the Aberdeen Maritime Museum. Part of the Sound Festival, this free event welcomed families of all ages to experience the joy of live music in a relaxed and informal setting.
Clarinetist Neyire Ashworth, flautist Robert Manasse, and bassoonist Stanley Kaye-Smith led audiences on a unique musical journey through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. With their characteristic charm and creativity, they proved once again that classical music is for everyone, turning a morning at the museum into an unforgettable adventure for children and adults alike.
Looking Ahead
The Family Promenade Concert was a joyful reminder of the New London Chamber Ensemble’s mission to make music that inspires and connects people of all ages.
