We got back late last night from a wonderful performance for Chipping Campden Concerts in the local school hall there. Really great audience, smiling faces all round, and some very good feedback. We were delighted to be there – our first time. The programme was a selection box of french music, including Ibert, Françaix, Milhaud and Ravel, and breaking the pattern with Mozart’s Serenade in C minor. We particularly loved the Françaix and Milhaud last night – must try to perform those more often, as they’re beautiful pieces!
